As we rapidly approach the end of the semester, here are the events we will be holding during Senior Week 2017. Stop by any of these events to learn about particular topics that may apply to your life after Bryn Mawr!

Can you pay my bills? Budgeting & basic financial mindfulness after BMC

“Can you pay my bills? Budgeting & financial mindfulness after BMC” will explore how to proactively think about your finances after graduating, including how to budget within your salary, how to save money, how to assess spending priorities etc. The content of this session will primarily come from first person experience, shared by current young staff members, as well as tried and true best practice tips. We will also be providing you with online resources to peruse as you start to piece together what your post-grad spending will look like.

Email Forwarding & File Storage: 
Graduating seniors will lose access to Moodle, H: drive storage, and BMC email 90 days after graduation. Don’t let important documents like theses, recommendation letters, and syllabi get left behind when you pack up to leave campus! Be sure to save copies of anything you might need from Moodle, the H: drive, and past emails, and set up email forwarding! About Palak Bhandari

As a post-bac Educational Technologist on a six-person team in Educational Technology Services (an office within Library and Information Technology Services), Palak collaborates with faculty, staff and students on technological needs for institutional learning. As a part of her position, Palak is responsible for structuring ETS' internship programs to allow student interns to further their digital competencies. She also collaborates with Pearson Education to understand the educational applications of the Microsoft HoloLens & managed six HoloLens student interns through agile development techniques. Lastly, Palak works with Bryn Mawr faculty and staff to conduct workshops on presentation tools, interactive polling and social media tracking tools, among other topics. She also serves as part of the organizing team for the Blended Learning in the Liberal Arts Conference. Palak graduated from Bryn Mawr in 2016 with a B.A. in the Growth & Structure of Cities and International Studies.
